The Album...
Released in 1995, Schizophrenic Daze features the best known of all of Erik ’s early songs “Playing the Game”. During the fall of 1995, the song was made into a music video by Ken & Glen Aspeslagh, for their local public access TV show “The Ken & Glen show”
Content wise, the album itself was mostly soul searching and/or apologies for topics featured on “The First Album, but at the same time was simply the next step in Erik’s creative growth as a songwriter, musician and recording engineer. This album also features some of the only solo guitar instrumental songs on any of Erik’s albums.
The original version of this album featured a cover of Skid Row’s "In a Darkened Room". Also, the end of each side on the cassette featured a medley of cover songs. (Extreme, Nine Inch Nails, Dinosaur Jr, Firehouse, Poison, Sam Black Church, Lynyrd Synyrd). Due to copyright laws they could not be included on the current version.
